Ultrasound/OB Appt

Well, all looks great with mom & baby. I even got the hook up on some anti-nausea meds. (Everyone cross fingers-I need some relief!) The baby had tripled in size in the last 3 weeks and looks right on target. Heartbeat looked perfect. We go back just after Christmas.

Turkey Day Pictures

Bill had just kissed Terrance on the cheek. Maybe you had to be there. Trust me-it was hilarious =)

Happy Turkey Day!

What an eventful week its been-and I am so glad it's over!

Last Thursday was probably the best birthday I've had in years. Terrance is the sweetest, most fabulous husband. I woke up to 2 dozen red, yellow & peach roses on my bathroom counter. Talk about a great way to begin the day. A few hours later I was offered a great new job (started the next day!), then had such a nice dinner with my parents at Left Bank-YUMMY. GG even got me my frangelico cake. YOU ALL ROCK!

So, the new job is going well. The pregnancy is thriving-evidenced by my growing ill state. We went to Granny & Grandpa's for Granny's birthday dinner on Sunday and had sea bass (another fabulous meal!). Terrance even took a bite! For all those who don't know, Terrance HATES fish-with a distinct passion.

Now I am waiting for Amanda's plane to leave Boise. So far, it is 1 hour late. I guess it's time to get started on that yummy stuffing....

We are off to Bill & Debbie's house for a great day with the MacAlary clan. I can't wait to meet little Tavia and see Michelle's preggo belly. It really should be a fun day. Then, we will likely head over the the Guad celebration at Chris & Jill's house to finish the day off right. I love days like today when we get to see so many people that really matter to us. It's definately one of the things I am most thankful for this year.

But the baby is # 1. We cant wait to meet our little Katie or Jack! (This week)

Icky Mommy

Isnt that funny? You really do forget how awful the whole pregnancy thing can be. LOL

Don't get me wrong, I'm THRILLED to actually be here. Its just amazing how with that first look at my precious babies the memory of how horribly sick I was with both Josh & Amanda just faded away. Each and every one of those memories are back with a vengance. Along with the mix of excitement, anticipation, anxiety and joy comes the torture-induced stomach flu (calling it morning sickness really doesnt do it justice), the headaches, shooting pains, mood swings and exhaustion. And I have 7 more months of this?!?!

Anywho......

We just got back from a fun girls night out with Grandma Georgia. Saw a chick flick, ate pasta. The only thing missing was the glass of wine. Having Amanda here a couple of days early this week due to a school break has been great. We have been able to start some heavy duty Christmas daydreaming-that is ALWAYS fun! And thankfully, it is almost the weekend so we are looking forward to lunch with Grandma Mary Beth and Aunt Laura.

A Heartbeat!!

Well, the OB appt. went great today-all of my bloodwork is normal & we were even able to see a heartbeat (which is rare this early). All looks great so far-not that you tell what is what in this EARLY ultrasound image.

btw-I have the best daughter in the world. Just thought you all should know. (Hugs to LuLu)

Finally Pregnant!!

So......

After visiting the RE last month and finding out we were onto daily injectibles and IUI-we have a month with no help at all and end up pregnant! Quite pregnant, I might add. Fully sick, tired and completely distracted by the baby so far. WOO HOO

Have had a blood test every week for the last 3 weeks-all signs point to a healthy baby. We go for our first ultrasound tommorow!

We are all thrilled!
